Asuchillo Beach Break 

Great for all skill levels. Beautiful beach break that sets up nice A-frame peaks. Perfect for a "mellow" day and the less-experienced surfer, but can also provide a nice challenge for more experienced surfers. Benefits from off-shore winds 250+ days of the year. Just a 5 minute ride from Luxury Accommodations.  

Freight Trains

Intermediate to advanced.  Breaks over off-shore sandbar.  When the section connects up, you can see 400m long rides.  Barrels at take-off and gives way to rippable walls.  Accessible Only by boat. Just 10 minutes from La Flor Surf Camp. Benefits from over 300 days of offshore Papagayo winds.

Fun wave for all experience levels.  A couple of fun waves breaking over a reef that shows up when the tide is low.  Undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful beaches in Central America.  If you feel rusty, this wave is perfect to get your surf legs back.  Also good for a second or third daily session to work on your skills.  Multiple peaks to enjoy.

Experts only when there's a big swell.  This wave is hollow and FAST.  This left point breaks over a shallow reef.  Most consider this to be one of the best waves in all of Central America! Benefits from over 250 days of offshore Papagayo winds created by Nicaragua’s lakes.

Cherrios

Intermediate to Advanced.  Not the most consistent wave, but fun and rippable when the bigger swells show up.  Benefits from over 250 days of offshore Papagayo winds created by Nicaragua’s lakes.

Chiggas

Intermediate to advanced. Another awesome wave that will hold at any size! Right reef break with a Deep-water takeoff leading to a walling tube with a sweet rippable section.  Benefits from over 250 days of offshore Papagayo winds created by Nicaragua’s lakes.

FN's

Our secret spot. That's about all we'll say about ths break.  A picture says 1,000 words!  Breaks hard over a shallow sandbar. Hollow and Fast.  Paddle hard, hang on, and get ready for the stoke of your life!!!  Benefits from 300+ days of offshore winds.

Punta Miramar

Intermediate to Advanced.  This is a very hollow left that breaks of a shallow reef.  Awesome shape.  Ideal in the 3 to 6 feet range, but holds its form when it's jacking at triple overhead.  Two fast sections, one at take off, and another on the inside. 

Pipes

Excellent reef/beach break just down the beach from Punta Miramar.  A fun wave that breaks in both directions at mid-tide and can get hollow if the swell comes in at the right direction.  Just a 5 minute ride or 10 minute walk from La Flor Surf Camp.

The Ranch

Fun for ALL surfing abilities.  Almond Shaped Barrels, A-frame peaks on a beautiful beach break right in front of our own personal “mysto” land.  We'll have to bring you in blindfolded.  Holds size well. Benefits from offshore winds 300+ days per year.

Indicators

Gets its name because it shows whether Freight Trains is breaking well.  Forms rippable walls on a decent swell, and breaks through the low tide, throwing fun waves that break right in front of the Playa Hermosa House.  A great spot to end a day full of surf sessions!
